Kimberly Noel Kardashian West was born on October 21, 1980 in California. She comes from a well-off, Armenian family. Her father was a celebrity lawyer and was instrumental in the OJ Simpson case. Kim gained notoriety through the controversial reality show "Keeping Up with the Kardashians," which included her siblings, half-siblings, and parents. From then on she was invited to various talk shows and got hold of smaller film roles, such as in "How I Met Your Mother" or "CSI". Together with her sisters, she founded the fashion label "Kardashian Kollection", in addition Kim advertises various cosmetics, including "Nicole by OPI". Kim Kardashian was married to Damon Thomas from 2000 to 2004, and in 2011 she married basketball player Kris Humphries for 72 days. Her third wedding was in 2014 with the singer Kanye West closed.
