The White House on Thursday condemned comedian Samantha Bee's remark that the White House White House counselor and first daughter Ivanka Trump were a "fickless c ***," and demanded that TBS broadcasting her show publicly refuse. The comment for which Bee later apologized on Thursday follows a national debate about arson in the political arena. Earlier this week, Roseanne Barr's successful TV show abruptly ended after she made a racial reference on Twitter to former Obama adviser Valerie Jarrett. White House spokeswoman Sarah Sanders said Bee's language was "mean and vicious".
